Our client is a globally recognised design consultancy looking to hire an Assistant Building Surveyor to work on a range of projects. The right candidate will be driven, commercially aware and looking for long term career progression. Responsibilities:
* Work across a range of different buildings and clients, including commercial, public, banking, residential, healthcare, defence and education sectors
* Support senior managers and colleagues in daily duties - preparing report templates, validating survey data and taking minutes
* Support several other offices based across the UK in the delivery of key national commissions
* Work across large scale survey programmes, assessing the condition of building assets and capturing data using an iPad
* Work alongside wider team delivering contract administration, defect analysis, project management, measures surveys and the party wall act and dilapidations
Requirements
* Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
* Must possess the ability to contribute ideas effectively with clients and colleagues
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Full UK driving license
* Strong written communication
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent organisational and time management
* Ability to work away from home as required
Desirable: - Basic AutoCad ability
