About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Brand & Marketing Lead with a robust background in managing and delivering all aspects of marketing, media, communications and events for a growing business. This role requires a confident and innovative thinker with a demonstrable ability to produce engaging and relevant content to support business development activities. We work predominately with Local and Combined Authorities, with contracts awarded through tender processes or direct awards via procurement platforms. The Brand & Marketing Lead will need to build a marketing strategy around this basis and deliver content that showcases our expertise, strengths and achievements in past and current projects, as well as selling the fantastic talent of our team.
While our goal is to drive organic sales, the primary responsibility of the Brand & Marketing Lead is to enhance the visibility of our brand, team, and accomplishments across all social media platforms, as well as our newly launched website. For this role, proficiency in WordPress or similar website editing software is an advantage.
The Brand and Marketing Lead must be able to produce all content including graphics and video content themselves, and will also be part of the team producing tender documentation, annual review documents and other handouts as deemed necessary.

Candidate Requirements
* 3- 4 years’ experience where you have honed your marketing expertise.
* Demonstrated ability to identify strategic marketing objectives and opportunities, crafting a comprehensive strategy and campaign calendar that aligns with company events and external engagements.
* A Brand Champion ensuring quality and consistency in our marketing endeavours.
* Work closely with the wider team and Director to create and oversee regular and compelling content for our social media platforms and website.
* Experience in writing and publishing insightful, high-quality articles on complex topics that resonate with our targeted audiences, supported and curated through our technical experts.
* Monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness using relevant tools, providing regular reports to the executive team to inform future strategies and growth.
* Support the team with content for bid writing and award nomination submissions, showcasing our achievements and capabilities, whilst managing our collateral, client stories, and testimonials.
* Well-developed technical proficiency and IT and graphic skills and extensive knowledge of social media platforms in both written and video content; must have WordPress experience and Adobe Creative or the like.
* Ideally an understanding and familiarity of our sectors across digital infrastructure, highways and transport, and placemaking and planning sectors would be beneficial.
* You will be able to stay ahead of emerging trends, and marketing technologies, including innovations like AI, to keep our content cutting-edge and purposeful.
* Managing attendance at market events for staff and our clients, as well as attending in person; including setting up discussion panels and promoting our achievements with our clients.

* Be highly driven, showcasing excellent organisational skills and a commitment to achieving success in developing strong brand awareness and positive feedback.
Experience and Qualifications
* Educated to min. Degree level, equivalent or higher in Communications, Marketing or Journalism.
* Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a marketing or business development role.
* A strong portfolio of previous work, with the ability to build on previous successful marketing campaigns.
