Your new role As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the team to ensure project deliverables are met through meticulous planning and organisation. You will coordinate documentation and drawings between various parties, review engineering drawings and 3D models, and conduct quality checks on materials and factory-assembled products. Additionally, you will assist with the planning and coordination of onsite installations, develop operation and maintenance manuals, and support the project team throughout the entire project life cycle. Your role will also involve accompanying engineers to site surveys and overseeing the delivery and installation of our equipment, all while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Clear and professional communication with clients and suppliers will be essential. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should hold or expect to gain a 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related subject. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software is required, along with a full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals for applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence. You should also be adept at using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work locally in our Cookstown Head Office. Experience in the water and wastewater industries or a fabrication environment would be advantageous.
