Teaching Support Assistant CF32, Full time Bridgend Pay - £12.90 per hour Job description Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching assistant to join a Special Educational Needs school in Bridgend which supports pupils from ages 3-19. The educator needs to be a charismatic, patient person with the ability to think on their feet and adapt to situations with ease. Experience working within school is not vital but experience with additional needs would be extremely useful and will give a real head start to successful candidates. You could either be in a class working as a general TA or with a 1-to-1 pupil, so you need to be comfortable working with both pupil group sizes and able to adapt to them. We need someone who can commit to a long-term vacancy with a lot of flexibility as we will need to create a regular pattern as the school likes keeping a strong routine for the pupils. In interview stage showing passion and for the vacancy and for the type of work is vital Responsibilities Ensuring pupils are engaging in all sessions. To plan and implement appropriate techniques to deal with challenging behaviour in pupils where appropriate. To take part in relevant training and courses as required.
