We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Clinical Effectiveness Officer to support and oversee audit activities, clinical guideline development and the application of NICE guidance within the Corporate Clinical Effectiveness Team. In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Effectiveness Lead and Head of Quality Outcomes to enhance the quality of care across the organization. Key Responsibilities Support and oversee audit activities within the Corporate Clinical Effectiveness Team as directed by the Clinical Effectiveness Lead and Head of Quality Outcomes. Assist in action planning and evaluating outcomes from clinical audits, clinical guidelines, NICE guidelines, and quality improvement projects, ensuring that clinicians receive the necessary support and the Trust maintains comprehensive evidence of improvements achieved through the clinical effectiveness portfolio. Provide expert advice and support to divisional teams regarding clinical audit projects, clinical guideline development, and the implementation of new and updated NICE guidance, including assistance with data collection and analysis. Generate regular reports on all aspects of the clinical effectiveness portfolio for divisional teams, the Corporate Clinical Effectiveness Governance Group, and the wider organization. This reporting will contribute to the delivery and inclusion of data for the Trust's annual Quality Account. Support the development, endorsement, and approval of policies and guidelines within the organization as directed by the Clinical Effectiveness Lead.
