Key Responsibilities: Analyse project requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates. Prepare comprehensive tender submissions for HV and LV connection projects, including new connections and upgrades to existing networks. Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements. Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure estimates reflect project scope and deliverables. Conduct site assessments when required to better understand project complexities and conditions. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations to achieve competitive pricing. Present cost estimates and bid proposals to senior management for approval. Monitor market trends, cost fluctuations, and new technologies that impact project costs.
