An exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Senior FP&A Manager to take the reins of the Region North and will offer you the place as no. 2 to the VP to support with various ad hoc analysis and really dive into the business! Reporting into the Senior Management team, you and your team will play a crucial part as Business Partners responsible for providing accurate, timely, and reliable information which supports and shapes the strategic direction.
This role will also be responsible for combining financial and market data to create better insight into business performance and its potential opportunities, challenging the commercial teams to achieve or exceed targets using a data-driven approach.
Responsibilities include:
1. The role will have one direct report.
2. Lead and manage the planning and forecasting for the region, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial plans for the region.
3. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support effective decision-making within the finance close cycles (i.e., consolidation and preparation of management packs).
4. Drive the implementation of financial planning and budgeting processes for the business in line with HQ directions, working closely with cross-functional teams to align financial targets with business objectives.
5. Collaborate with the finance leadership team to drive financial performance and accountability for the business, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
6. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business opportunities, assess profitability, and support decision-making on market expansion and customer segmentation.
7. Support the development and implementation of financial and operational metrics and KPIs to measure and track performance, and monitor progress against targets including risks and opportunities, trend analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
8. Provide guidance and support to the commercial finance team.
About You:
1. ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
2. Previous experience in financial management and controlling, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
4. Take ownership having excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
5. Proficient in financial management systems and tools, such as SAP and MS Excel.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels.
7. Proven track record in driving financial performance, cost optimization, and process improvement.
