Finance Systems Analyst: Oracle EPM Fusion
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our financial operating systems, we are currently undergoing a significant finance transformation by transitioning to Oracle Cloud. Presenting a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the future success of our organisation. Specifically, for the FPA and Group finance functions we are currently implementing 3 solutions: (i) Planning and Budgeting (PBCS), (ii) Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS) and (iii) Financial Consolidation and Close solution (FCC). We are searching for skilled and motivated individuals to join the team to play an important part in this.
About the role
As a member of the Finance Transformation team, reporting to the EPM Applications Lead, you will be instrumental in realizing our vision for finance transformation through the use of EPM Cloud solutions. Your role will involve supporting the project throughout the implementation phase and subsequently assuming the continuous management of these applications. It is essential that you have previous experience in the administration and routine management of finance systems, as well as a solid grasp of Financial Planning and Analysis processes.
Responsibilities
1. Support project implementation: As part of the project team produce necessary deliverables, documentation of procedures plus controls, executing system and integration testing, supporting business acceptance testing and manage deployment.
2. Perform Systems Maintenance: Manage the execution of all routine system administration tasks, such as metadata updates, data loads, reconciliations, application monitoring, initialisation, security audits and provisioning. This includes managing all EPM Cloud environments and synchronisation of changes.
3. Document system configurations, application designs, and procedural changes.
4. Provide Application Support: Provides day-to-day support for resolution of incidents (e.g., outages, performance issues) collaborating with other technical teams/Oracle.
5. Deliver Training & Continuous Improvement: Provide product support to end-users (e.g., Smart View) on Oracle EPM solutions and processes.
About You
* Good understanding and experience supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or financial reporting processes.
* Significant experience in systems administration or systems support role. Preferably in Oracle EPM or similar applications/technologies e.g., Cognos, SAP, Onestream, Board, Workday Adaptive Planning.
* Fundamental knowledge of programming language: e.g., Visual Basic or SQL script.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting (or Accounting Qualification), or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Software Development disciplines.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Oracle EPM Cloud certification is a plus.
