Job Title: Marketing Executive
Location: Chelmsford
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time, 12 months with potential to extend and to apply for permanent position
HYBRID expected 3 days in the office after onboarding, training, and induction.
Salary: £16.21 p/h PAYE (higher hourly rate an option, through an Umbrella company)

With four leisure centres, an Ice rink and countless kid's clubs and activities, they are committed to promoting an active lifestyle and ensuring that their facilities are accessible to all.
You'll be working for a fast-moving marketing team within Chelmsford City Council promoting everything from our annual Ice Show to community wellness activities.

Responsibilities:
Lead major promotional campaigns to boost income and raise awareness of services.
Create compelling content for social media, videos, and graphics.
Organise and host promotional events.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Marketing of memberships
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing strategies with community goals.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Ready to be hands on to support across projects as required
Proven experience in marketing practises across various channels (digital, traditional, social media).
Expertise in Canva for graphic design and video production.
Recent experience managing Paid Facebook and Google ads.
Strong copywriting skills for email marketing and social media.
Proficient in using CRM systems and social media scheduling tools.
High computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Experience in managing multiple social media accounts and capturing engaging content.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Familiarity with SEO principles and website marketing.
Understanding of data protection legislation (e.g., GDPR).
Knowledge of industry trends and local community needs.
Technologies:
Canva, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Email Systems, Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), Digital Asset Management Systems.
