If so, we have the perfect role for you As a Childcare Practitioner (ASN), you’ll work one-on-one with amazing children and young people, planning and creating a variety of fun and engaging play and social activities tailored to their unique needs and interests. Activity Planning: Create fun and engaging activities that brighten each child’s day. Comprehensive Care: Provide essential support, including moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration. Provide Nutritious Snacks: Support the safe consumption of healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs. Memorable Experiences: Develop a program of social activities tailored to each child’s individual needs and preferences. Use a variety of communication methods to engage and include the young people in a range of activities and experiences. The Person If you are someone who: Is fun, engaging, adaptable, passionate about working with children and young people Has experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting Is willing to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification In return you will benefit from: An hourly rate of 14.43 per hour The ability to gain a formal qualification through our own SVQ Assessor Access to a wide range of professional learning and training opportunities Career progression opportunities including the ability to gain permanent employment Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
