Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Cheshire, Wilmslow Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Description: The Cover Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a productive and positive learning environment within the educational institution. Responsibilities include: Job Duties: Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher Managing student behaviour and ensuring a focused learning atmosphere Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students Providing support to students in their learning activities Assisting with the maintenance of a safe and inclusive classroom environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and engage with students effectively Education: A Level qualifications or equivalent Experience: Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable Experience in managing groups of students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of classroom management techniques Effective communication skills with both students and staff Ability to follow and implement lesson plans Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Full-time hours, working on a contract basis Interaction with students and teaching staff Varied and dynamic educational environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
