Bristol Royal Hospital for Children has been recognised for providing outstanding care for children and young adults with muscle wasting conditions. In 2019, it was awarded Centre of Clinical Excellence status by Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The neuromuscular service is one of the four designated centres for several pioneering therapies, including most recently Zolgensma.
