Role Objectives:
The Director of Market Access is responsible for developing and executing innovative market access strategies to support the commercialisation of unlicensed medicines within Oncology, Rare Diseases, and Cell and Gene therapies for WEP Client product portfolios. The director also creates commercial programmes for pricing, evidence generation, and global economic evaluation.

What You'll Do:
* Develop and lead or support targeted new business development programs or attract new clients with unique strategies for transitioning clients' assets from clinical development to commercial access and reimbursement.
* Create a ‘preferred partner’ environment where clients entrust their ambitions for their assets. The transition from early access programs into strategic market access programmes that drive commercial success for licenced indications.
* Drive depth in existing client accounts by identifying new opportunities within their product portfolio and cross-selling WEP capabilities where appropriate.
* Work with Clients to advise, create, and develop the market access strategy for their target markets. Provide expertise in asset profiling, market research, pricing research, competitor landscaping, pricing scenario analyses, innovative value access agreements, and local market negotiations on price and reimbursement.
* Provide strategic and technical knowledge and operational support across the defined markets to drive the success of companies/partners' products in the marketplace.
* Support internal teams within the distribution and managed access departments, driving awareness and greater understanding of the market access environment and the technicalities of global access schemes.
* Work cross-functionally with all departments within the distribution and managed access departments on each client strategy, implementation programme and support requirements.
* Guide WEP Clients to all relevant marketing authorisations and early access schemes relevant to product and specialist therapy areas.
* Prepare proposals for clients’ programmes based on WEP and/or third-party resources, driving revenues and profitability for MA and contributing to the overall value of WEP.
* Provide support in forecasting new programmes and revenues linked to profitability and annual objectives and performance.
What You'll Need:
* Proven executive-level experience in establishing and scaling Post-Approval Business Services and Divisions such as Market Access, Health Economics, and Real-World Data (RWD), including developing foundational strategies and operational frameworks and fostering cross-functional collaborations to ensure successful product access and reimbursement.
* Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Business discipline and/or MSc in Health Economics or Health Policy.
* Extensive experience in budget management, P&L oversight, forecasting, and overall business management.
* Commercial expertise in Pharmaceuticals, particularly in specialized treatments for Oncology, Cell & Gene Therapies, and Rare Disease therapy areas.
* Expertise in commercial contracting with clients, vendors, and third-party service providers.
* In-depth experience in product lifecycle management, including new product introductions and commercialization strategies.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% to support business needs.
* Strong, established network within European Reimbursement Agencies.
* Demonstrated leadership in people management, talent development, and career progression.
