Nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD)
Lifestyle Care is a company, which is part of the Malhotra Group; a family run business based in the North East of England. We are currently recruiting for a Nurse at Eastside Gardens.
Eastside Gardens is a purpose built Care Home located in Howdon. It is within easy reach of local transport links.
About you:
You will need to be a first level nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) with a current PIN. You’ll need to be passionate about what you do, and that means leading by example. You must be very organised, able to work on your own initiative and make effective decisions, whilst working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team within a clear competency framework.
You should be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Regulations. You should be registered with the NMC.
We provide excellent care for our residents which improves and enhances their quality of life.
Our Care Homes provide general residential care, nursing care, and specialist dementia care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Leading, supervising and training the care team.
2. Being responsible for ordering, storing and administering medication.
3. Keeping precise, up to date records.
4. Carrying out pre assessments, developing and implementing care plans and risk assessments.
5. Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
6. Maintaining the residents' dignity and respect at all times.
7. Achieving the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff.
8. Taking management responsibility for the shift as directed.
9. Ensuring that all Lifestyle Care Policies and Procedures are adhered to, including safeguarding, incident and accident reporting, risk assessment and care plans.
10. Working appropriately with your line manager in all matters and notifying them of any issues that could cause harm to anyone in our care or any member of staff, or any issue that significantly affects the continuing quality of service delivery.

1. Previous experience within a nursing care home or similar.
2. Strong clinical skills.
3. Team player.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Satisfactory DBS check.
