Consultant in Public Health
£95,659 to £100,499
Closing date: 22nd November
Stoke-on-Trent is a unique city with a diverse population, forged through a strong industrial heritage, world-renown for our enterprise and craftsmanship. Our communities are tightly woven where the importance of family, neighbourhoods and place all contribute to a strong sense of personal and collective identity.
However, we know that there are inequalities across our communities that impact upon the wellbeing, prosperity and life outcomes of our residents. With limited resources to shift deep engrained challenges, we are seeking two Consultants in Public Health who have the passion, commitment and the right values to make a lasting positive impact to the city.
With our renewed ambition, we are rebuilding our public health team with the addition of new Consultant posts who will have the skill, confidence and creativity to work within constrained resources to make a lasting impact. These are challenging roles, but for the right individuals they will be deeply rewarding, for those who want to make a difference and see the impact of their actions.
If you’re up for the challenge, want to work in a city which is unique in the UK, a city of kindness and a city where care runs deep, we are keen for you to apply.
For further information, please see or speak to colleagues at GatenbySanderson, Louise Bickley (07586 715788) or Philip Emms (07590 225472) and visit the microsite by clicking Apply.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council values the diversity of its community and aims to have a workforce that reflects this – we therefore encourage applications from all sections of our community. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees – a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed together.
