Job Description
* Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation to become a trusted partner.
* Demonstrate ER / IR leadership through providing high-level, practical and tactical advice to key stakeholders including HR and Operational Leaders.
* Be the EA go-to expert for a range of activities including EA benchmarking to identify best-practice improvements, negotiation and consultation approaches to ensure business, people and legislative requirements are met.
* Lead and support enterprise bargaining processes across the Group.
* Award & EA interpretation.
* Regularly coach and develop the ER competency of the HR Divisional teams.
* Provide top-tier advice on a variety of matters including disciplinary processes and disputes, union management.
The Successful Applicant
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment / Industrial Relations or other related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in employment / industrial relations, Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation and negotiation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and execute discreet projects independently.
* Ability to take ownership of complex ER / IR matters.
* Confident and tactful written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong consultation, negotiation and rapport building skills.
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of Australian employment legislation and regulations.
