Description Programme Development Officer - Ref: CH08624 G9: £39,513 - £44,711 per annum. Walsall Safeguarding Partnership is recruiting to the permanent position of Programme Development Officer. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing and coordinating a programme of activity across key priority areas for safeguarding children and adults We are seeking a Programme Development Officer to join the Partnerships small, hard-working business unit. The team provides a range of services to support the efficient running of Walsall Safeguarding Partnership who are responsible for ensuring that the delivery of services to children and adults with care and support needs are effective in keeping them safe. This post will work with a range of multi-agency safeguarding professionals from Health, Police, Local Authority, Education and others, in order to promote and develop a programme of activities that will support the delivery of the safeguarding partnership priorities. The role requires a confident and resilient candidate with excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of working in a multi-agency safeguarding environment. You will be supported by and work closely with the Head of Safeguarding Partnership and the Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead but will be expected to work independently and often to specified timescales.
