Lead Estimator Passive Fire Protection Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working available based on performance) Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 Package My client is a leading company specialising in passive fire protection solutions and are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in the passive fire industry to take on a leadership role within a rapidly growing business. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 7-8 estimators across various specialisms, including fire doors, AOV smoke systems, MEP, and facades. Oversee and guide the estimation process for complex passive fire projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient process from estimating through to project completion. Provide training, development, and ongoing support to estimators, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture. Take ownership of the estimation process, including reviewing bids, costings, and ensuring all relevant standards and regulations are met. Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership, positive communication, and a keen focus on high-quality delivery. Proven experience in managing and growing a team of estimators. Previous experience in the passive fire industry is highly advantageous, especially across fire doors, smoke systems, MEP, and facades.
