Waldencast is seeking a skilled Digital Content and Community Lead to drive the growth and engagement of our brand’s presence across various social platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that showcases our brand values and resonates with our target audience.
About the Role
As a Digital Content and Community Lead, you will:
* Manage day-to-day activity and strategy implementation on social media accounts, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
* Engage with followers, responding to direct messages and flagging any issues to maintain a positive and responsive community.
* Evaluate the performance of social media content and provide actionable insights to inform future content strategies.
* Work closely with the brand lead to deliver high-quality content that brings the brand to life, its values, and key campaigns.
* Develop and manage content calendars, coordinating posts, stories, and campaigns across platforms.
* Create engaging, on-brand content that resonates with the target audience to raise awareness, drive engagement, and boost conversion.
* Collaborate with the team, influencers, and external creators to plan content that aligns with the brand’s voice, target audience, and business objectives.
* Adapt existing brand assets for optimized use on Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikTok.
* Produce short-form video content, including shooting, editing, and optimizing videography.
* Identify and apply consumer insights to develop content that is relevant and impactful.
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle sectors, and be proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
