About the Role The post holder will be working for Nottingham City Council, Enviroenergy department as the District Heating Scheduling and Monitoring Officer, you’ll be responsible for taking meeting minutes, arranging meetings, ensuring that actions from meetings are followed up on and delivering key reporting information to the management team. The role will see you access numerous systems to extract data and turn this data into readable management information to give a clear picture of where KPI’s and other performance metrics are being met. You’ll use your technical, analytical and communication skills to collect and examine data and deliver reports to help the District Heating department find patterns and solve problems. This can be for many purposes, for example: Ofgem regulation, Environment agency regulation or HSE regulation. About You The ideal candidate will have: Well-rounded knowledge and experience of MS Office software, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint with ability to troubleshoot these applications. Good organisational skills, with ability to work to and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in establishing new systems and processes and look for opportunities to improve the flow of data. Experience of processing and cleaning data, translating it into a readable format for stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to business leaders.
