Key Technical Skills
1. 8 years of C#/WPF/.NET development experience working in a performance-focused concurrent environment
2. 8 years of hands-on development with investment banking IT experience
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Development Manager, Project Manager, and a team of developers to deliver quality features and enhancements to the internal business users
2. Demonstrate a systematic and disciplined architectural, system design and programming approach
3. Deeply passionate about best-practice software design principles, you will write robust code along with a high-level of test coverage
4. Self-starter who can drive/facilitate requirements and development effort
5. Design smart and scalable solutions following the bank standards
6. Coordinate with other teams in Technology
7. Develop, prepare and maintain system documentation, including program descriptions and operational procedures
8. Act as the second line of support during production problems.
Qualification & Skills
1. Experience of TDD and BDD in a commercial environment
2. Exposure to continuous build and deployment solutions such as Azure DevOps
3. Able to work within an agile environment delivering software incrementally
4. UI Skillset will be needed

2. Good communication skills in both written and oral English
3. Ability to be organized and multi-task on different requirements across various stakeholders, and to work independently and under pressure

Technical skills (Non-essential but beneficial for this role)
1. Any data and compute grid experience a plus
2. Development experience in functional languages, such as Haskell, is a plus
Domain Knowledge (Non-essential but very beneficial for this role)
1. Knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives, trading and risk management, market data, and market risk processes and methodologies
2. Understanding of risk measures, risk analysis, and reporting
3. Knowledge of at least one specific asset class/line of financial instruments
