Job Description
* Manages small projects, either capital or expense.
* Resource for the maintenance supervisors regarding high level troubleshooting.
* Plays an active role in developing maintenance budgets.
* Analyses maintenance costs to find opportunities for improvement.
* Performs engineering design calculations as needed for the maintenance team.
* Specialist resource to assist in the management of reactive maintenance repair issues.
* Develops SOW for the Reliability and Projects teams to investigate and execute longer term remedies.
* Assists the Maintenance Coordinator in improving the execution of scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Skilled in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
* Revise and create maintenance procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, preferably IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate.
* Proven experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
* Strong team collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills.
