Role Overview
As the Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school’s facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations, including maintenance tasks, site security, and health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the management and upkeep of the school premises, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the site is safe and presentable.
3. Support the Site Manager in coordinating and overseeing contractors and external service providers.
4. Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments as needed.
5. Assist with site security, including opening and closing the premises, and managing access for visitors.
6. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
7. Contribute to the planning and execution of school events, ensuring facilities are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
8. Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures.
