This is an exciting role for someone to represent the voice of the channel and customer in developing the category strategy for PepsiCo's Savoury snacks Portfolio. You will lead a direct team of 3 to execute the multi-year vision that you have created, which grows the savoury snacks category for the OT and Impulse customers.
Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the DX, Insights, NRM & Marketing teams to develop a coherent category strategy (3-year horizon) for the OT & Impulse channels.
2. Own the category development conversations with PepsiCo's priority customers to ensure that the strategy flows through to the omni-channel shelf.
3. Lead the 'Store of the Future' thinking & own the external Category Growth Story.
4. Outline the levers & drivers for growth (both short & long-term), as well as the role of PepsiCo's brands to deliver a 'triple win' (shopper, customer & supplier).
5. Use data-driven insights to recommend the optimal portfolio & channel assortment.
6. Socialize the category strategy across a broad set of stakeholders to influence the annual & strategic plans.
7. Create the multi-year vision that delivers for PepsiCo while growing the savoury snacks category for the OT & Impulse customers.
8. Lead a direct team of 3 FTEs to execute the multi-year vision (indirectly with the Category Management & Commercial teams).
9. Discuss the latest consumer & shopper trends, missions & occasions, segments & price-tiers & how PepsiCo's products are purchased & consumed.
10. Stay up to date on the ever-changing competitor landscape.
Qualifications
1. Significant experience working within FMCG (preferably in DX or Strategy roles).
2. Practical experience of category-first or 'triple-win' thinking is a must.
3. Recognized project or change management qualifications are an advantage.
4. Strong business acumen (across Commercial, Finance & Operations).
5. Demonstrate 'end-to-end' thinking & thought-leadership.
6. Present complex information & recommendations in a simplified, yet compelling manner.
7. Clearly articulate the business impact.
8. Work well with others & lead cross-functional teams to deliver new initiatives.
