£47000 plus 33 days holidays, 6-month development plan salary increase by £4,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a range of processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently to maintain continuous production operations.
3. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
4. Provide technical support during production shifts, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate smoothly.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Update maintenance logs and technical manuals as necessary.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
7. Work closely with production, quality control, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
2. Excellent troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues.
3. Relevant certifications in mechanical or electrical engineering are advantageous.
4. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all maintenance work is performed accurately and safely.
