About the Job
The Quality Technician will uphold the quality standards of our company and inspect the incoming and outgoing goods to ensure the finished products meet our customers' quality expectations. As the role will be within a small team, they are encouraged to be flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Complete visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts and incoming goods.
* Build specific reports for Customers (e.g. ISIR, FAIR, PPAP’s etc).
* Complete first-off inspections from the production department (visual and dimensionally as required).
* Support the Quality Engineers with Customer rejections as the need arises.
* Create and submit rejections for incoming goods.
* Handle the recording of process scrap data.
* Support the team with order dispatch and arranging collections.
* Create and manage concession forms and requests for customer orders.
* Ensure and run equipment calibration within both the Quality and Production departments.
* Support Purchasing and Finance with the management of stock and inventory as and when required.
* Completing Production documentation, ensuring it is correctly and fully complete.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent) and proficient in MS Office Programs.
* Experience in a quality-focused position.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated and resourceful.
