Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our existing team to provide efficient admin and clerical support to the Paediatric Service, primarily based at Bassetlaw District General Hospital, with an expectation to work across sites as required by management.
The working pattern at Doncaster covers various shifts Monday - Sunday up to 10pm at night, while Bassetlaw would be Monday - Sunday up to 5pm.
Main duties of the job
You must have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work both alone and as part of a team. This post demands a candidate who pays attention to detail, is well organised, and flexible.
A good standard of education is essential with minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in both Maths and English. You must be IT literate.
The post holder will be responsible for providing an effective and well-organised administration/reception service primarily to the Children's Observation Unit. There will be an expectation to work as part of a wider team of ward clerks within Paediatrics to cover other areas within the Service as required. Full training on each unit will be given to the successful candidates.

* GCSE English Language at Grade C or above or equivalent qualification or relevant experience

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
* Use of a large mainframe database/hospital CaMIS System
