An opportunity has arisen in our Engineering Development Team, and we are looking for an Engineering Controls & Automation Manager to join us at Taylors of Harrogate where we roast, blend, and pack our famous teas and coffees. As Engineering Controls and Automation manager you will be responsible for leading the Controls and Automation team of two engineers as well as holding responsibility for all technology/automation related projects. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. If you would like to discuss flexible working please provide more details in your application. About you You will have experience in a similar role in a food/FMCG environment and be able to demonstrate how you will provide clear and supportive leadership to the team as well as tyour own drive to learn and develop. You will be confident and self-motivated and able to be flexible in line with the needs of the business. They will possess high levels of attention to detail and be able to work effectively both as part of a team and individually. Skills, knowledge and experience required: Qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND in electrical/electronic engineering Expert in controls engineering Experienced in engineering project management Experience of people management; coaching and developing a team High level of general electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge Plant installations and commissioning experience highly desirable Knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment Experience of Machinery Safety, PUWER and CE Marking highly desirable.
