They are now looking to recruit a Laboratory Services Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the laboratory and scientific services for the building.
2. Covering a number of clients within the premises as well as for the parent company.
3. Ensuring company clients are fully satisfied and requirements are met across health and safety, equipment, and facilities.
4. Overseeing the tissue culture room, analytical equipment, and incubator spaces within the building.
5. Maintenance of equipment and cleaning and decontamination of laboratories.
6. Managing a range of Laboratory Technicians and their objectives, as well as training new and existing team members.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A relevant degree in a scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology).
2. Experience in a laboratory management setting.
3. Experience of managing other individuals and laboratory spaces.
4. NEBOSH/ IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
5. Experience working to ISO9001, ISO13485, GMP, and GLP.
6. Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
7. Effective communication skills both internally and externally.
