The East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Service is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the team at the Cambusavie Unit in Golspie. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical expertise in the assessment and management of both older and younger adults with complex needs. The post-holder will work within the community and the inpatient setting, as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, dealing with a range of medical, neurological and orthopaedic conditions. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. The post-holder will assist their physiotherapy colleagues with the day-to-day running of the Physiotherapy Department, including the professional development of junior staff, support workers and students. Evidence of ongoing professional development is expected and knowledge of NHS policies and procedures is essential. The successful applicant will be required to hold a degree/honours degree in physiotherapy or equivalent. This is a permanent full-time post of up to 37 hours (full-time), to be worked in accordance with service requirements. A full UK manual driving licence is essential a nd, though a pool car is often available, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
