We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Operative (CNC / Panel Saw Operator) to join our team in Fraserburgh. We are a family run business that has been trading for over 65 years with a friendly working environment.
You will be responsible for the accurate trimming and cutting of panels within the Panel Department. This will involve carrying out this role in a safe & timely manner with high quality standards.
You will develop a strong sense of workmanship while working to our build process using technical drawings and specification sheets. You will have an excellent team around you to help you develop your skills at Gray & Adams. Key Job Requirements:
1. HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s policies and risk assessments.
2. Trim and prepare panels produced from the Glue Shop ready for further preparation or assembly within the allocated times.
3. Planning of the daily workload to ensure the department achieves the daily Assembly and Depot Kit Delivery Plans.
4. Ensure the quality of panels prior to and post trimming are to the correct standards, ensuring those deviating from these standards are highlighted immediately.
5. Carry out pre-work inspections and record daily outputs to ensure Management is kept informed of issues and progress.
6. Carry out work within other departments or any reasonable Management request as and when required.
Skills We Think Will Help You Succeed In this Role:
1. Able to work within a team and with minimum supervision.
2. Ability to read technical drawings – Training will be given.
3. Able to identify different panel types.
4. Ability to solve problems.
5. Flexible attitude including the willingness to work in different areas, work shifts and work overtime as and when required.

1. Guaranteed 39 hours per week Monday – Friday, excellent rates of pay + overtime.
