We’re looking to create the role of Marketing Director across our two watch brands, anOrdain and Paulin.
There’s a lot to tell the world about, but we've been too consumed by the 'doing' over the past few years, and need someone to join the team who can tell our story. Not just tell the story, but create a plan which takes in different communication channels, and carry out that plan with an eye for detail and design.
The company began in 2014 with our first full-time employee, a jewellery graduate from the GSA, tasked with trying to create an enamel watch dial, a feat mastered by only a handful of luxury Swiss brands. That took 3 years, but today we’re well known amongst watch enthusiasts for our unique fusion of design and traditional crafts. 2025 will see us move into a purpose built factory/studios in Mount Florida, and a new chapter for the team.
We've got a great photography and design team in-house, lots of exciting, newsworthy products in the pipeline, and existing relationships with journalists. The skills we’re looking for in you are:
Strategic Planning - creating and refining our marketing plan.
Project Management - pulling everything and everyone together and making sure things happen.
Digital Marketing Proficiency - experience and competency, particularly in YouTube, IG and email.
Brand - understanding, developing and protecting.
Content Creation - working with our team and external creatives to create engaging and on-brand stories.
Copywriting skills would be desirable.
An understanding of the watch industry would be preferable, but is by no means essential.
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based role in the Cathcart area of Glasgow, but we would be willing to look at 3-4 days per week over the short-medium term in certain circumstances, such as working around childcare.
Starting salary is £35-45k with 32 days holiday, and the atmosphere and people make for an enjoyable place to work.
To apply, we require a brief covering letter and CV with examples of relevant work. Email to hello@anordain.com before the 6th of January.
