Castle Education are looking to appoint behavioural SEN teaching assistants to support a student with extreme challenging behaviour needs, for a temporary position in a local schools in the Scarborough area. Responsibilities Work closely with the teaching team to support students with behavioural difficulties in the classroom. Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, ensuring their emotional well-being and engagement in learning activities. Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviours and promote positive behaviour. Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans for students. Monitor student progress, record observations, and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians. Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions and social skills training to students with behavioural difficulties. Support students during transitions between activities and help them develop independence and self-regulation skills. Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students. Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians and other stakeholders to ensure consistent support for students.
