Overview job description
Our client is looking for a 2ndLine Support Engineer to support the businesses growth. For this role you will require exceptional technical support abilities, be customer focused, work well in a tight-knit team and will have an eagerness for learning new technical skills and disciplines.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Technical diagnostics. Resolving both software, and hardware issues efficiently and to a great standard.
* Microsoft 365 diagnostics and administration. Supporting Microsoft Office, Exchange, OneDrive and keeping to security best practices
* Windows Server 2016 – 2022 Support including Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Virtualisation technology including VMWare and Hyper-V.
* Monitoring, administration and support of network technologies including firewalls, routers and switches, VLANs and VPNs.
* Supporting users via remote desktop. RDP, Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* CompTIA A+ / Network+ qualifications or equivalent experience.
* MS MCP/MCSA in relevant technologies.
* ITIL Foundation Certificate.
* Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
* Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certifications.
