We have an exciting opportunity at Beauchamp House Surgery in Chelmsford for an experienced, full time practice nurse, to join our dedicated healthcare team. The main responsibilities include: Delivering exceptional levels of care to all patients. Conducting health assessments and screening programs. Working autonomously and as part of a team. Administering immunisations and vaccinations to both children and adults. Providing wound care and dressing services. Offering advice on family planning and sexual health. Carrying out cervical cytology. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to GDPR guidelines. Referring patients to secondary/specialist care as required. There may be on occasion a requirement to carry out other tasks, this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels: About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience: A relevant nursing degree. Current NMC registration with an active PIN. Experience in chronic disease management – Training in Diabetic management, Asthma and COPD would be desired. Experience using SystmOne.
