Job Description:
As Business Development Manager, you will be targeting new companies across the territory to work with the company by selling the entire suite of products and services we offer.
This includes advertising, events, and editorial-led commercial projects.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring monthly delivered revenue targets are met.
2. Meeting key performance indicators, including a minimum of ten targets per week, network events attended, and other KPIs as agreed with the commercial director weekly.
3. Promoting the full range of digital advertising and event services.
4. Creating your own pipeline of opportunities utilizing the data provided by the company and generating leads from your own efforts.
5. Working closely with the editorial teams to create commercial opportunities through weekly set commercial/editorial meetings.
6. Completing all necessary paperwork on time.
7. Abiding by company policies and procedures.
8. Punctual use of the company customer relationship management software system.
Person Specification:
1. You will be a talented and motivated business sales professional with the desire to become part of this growing business and enjoy the benefits of its continued success.
2. You will have a good understanding of business planning, sales pipeline management, safeguarding, and sales and marketing.
3. You will be a committed and passionate sales executive, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. You will also have strong problem-solving and data analytical skills, with competent computer and technology literacy.
5. The ability to use spreadsheets and word processing is vital.
