We are looking for a Premises Supervisor to join our team at St John's College.
You will be an experienced/skilled handy worker/maintenance operative. Working within the Maintenance Team on new work/ repairs and carrying out other semi-skilled routine tasks as directed by the Estates Manager. You should be able to work with minimum supervision. You must also be prepared to attend appropriate training and development sessions, as are deemed necessary by the management team and in accordance with your personal development plan.
You'll undertake general repair and maintenance of our Residential and Education buildings, promoting effective operation and service. You'll facilitate testing of fire alarm systems weekly and logging results, whilst carrying out ongoing redecoration as and when required to maintain the standards of the buildings.
We are looking for someone who has:
1. Experience as in buildings maintenance/general handy work.
2. Experience in planning and organising work effectively to consistently achieve results.
3. Experience using IT systems, predominantly MS Office packages.
4. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
