Registered Manager – Job Description
The Registered Manager assumes responsibility for OneCall24’s service management, development, and oversight. This role encompasses single care service management, collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams, and compliance with client and Care Inspectorate standards. Key duties include conducting interviews, appraisals, providing support and guidance, and managing complaints.
Responsibilities:
4. Day-to-day clinical department management, including complaints.
5. Contribution to the Care Management Team for organisational smoothness.
6. Policy development, monitoring, and audit for clinical practice and care.
7. Supervision of agency staff training and support.
8. Ensuring staff have access to necessary training resources.
9. Support with adult protection referrals and notifications.
10. Representation of the organisation in external activities and professional relationships.
11. Conducting interviews for candidates registering with OneCall24.
12. Decision-making regarding candidate classification and placement.
13. Providing professional guidance to the compliance team.
14. Conducting appraisals and responding to client complaints.
15. Medication error notifications and improvement initiatives.
16. Accident and incident record-keeping.
17. Involvement in service agreement development and review.
18. Upholding quality initiatives for enhanced customer care.
Requirements:
19. Nursing qualification with current NMC registration.
20. Minimum of 3 years’ Band 6 experience with interview, management, and leadership skills.
21. Strong communication, written English, and administrative skills.
22. Leadership capabilities with adaptability and change management proficiency.
23. Knowledge of clinical procedures in the NHS and private healthcare.
24. Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and delegation proficiency.
