We Are Delighted To Announce That There Are Exciting Opportunities Available Within The Mental Health Services, In NHS Forth Valley. We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have An Interest To Work Within:
* IPCU & Adult Inpatient admission wards, Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH)
* Older Adult Inpatient admission / dementia specialist wards, Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH)
* Older Adult – In-patient wards, Community Hospitals
* Low secure wards, Bellsdyke site, Larbert
* Rehab wards, Bellsdyke site, Larbert
The above posts are in ward settings, and you will be required to work Mon – Sun, across 24 hours shift pattern (12½ hours or core shifts). Part-time hours will be considered.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic student mental health nurses (due to qualify in 2025), who are keen to enhance/develop clinical skills, to work within these settings. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient-focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients within a mental health setting. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Scotland) is required. All posts require the post holder to be able to use de-escalation techniques; with all staff in in-patient areas able to apply Therapeutic Management of Aggression and Violence techniques (training given).
This advert is for mental health nurse graduates, due to qualify in 2025 who will automatically register with the UK NMC. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
