Your new company
Based within Wilmslow, you will be working as part of a small finance team and be the sole Credit Controller, tasked to ensure the Credit Control and related functions are managed in an effective and organised manner.
Your new role
As the sole Credit Controller/Sales Ledger you will be reporting to & supporting the Head of Finance, where you will be responsible for ensuring the Credit Control function is run in a streamline manner along with all related sales ledger functions.A varied role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and collecting debts within a set timeframe
- Allocation and daily reconciliations- Raising, processing and reconciliation of invoices
- Liaising with internal account managers highlighting problematic accounts & non-payments - Preparation of client statements & weekly reports- Updating client files and data entry- Taking calls and liaising with clients and assisting with queries via the telephone providing excellent customer service
- Working as part of a close-knit finance team - able to assist and carry out other duties to work collaboratively to support the team as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in Credit Control & Sales Ledger
Excellent customer service skills - able to liaise via the telephone and email at all levels confidently
Experience of working within a small team with a can-do attitude to working in a collaborative manner
