Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our fast paced finance team. This role will be an integral part of the accounts team, handling the day-to-day accounts payable & receivable functions. This is a full-time office-based role. Responsibilities Create & prepare Sales Invoices (one-off and recurring) using HaloPSA Review and creation of Purchase Orders using HaloPSA and Xero Bank reconciliations Process Accounts Payable invoices sent to us using Xero Reconcile Accounts Payable invoices against Purchase Orders and Recurring Reports for accuracy and to ensure costs are rebilled appropriately Credit Control - continual review of client outstanding invoices and chasing where necessary Handle day-to-day billing queries from clients and suppliers Continual review of supplier outstanding bills and schedule & process regular supplier payments to ensure we pay on time Process the monthly payroll and ensure relevant submissions are sent in a timely manner (HMRC, pensions, etc) Collate information required and answer any queries for external bookkeeper’s month-end process Continual review of processes to make them more efficient and improve Work alongside other team members to ensure holiday & absence cover is provided Skills and Attributes Numerical and analytical skills Xero experience Perseverance and attention to detail Excel competent (eg should be able to easily work with lookups and PivotTables) Able to meet deadlines Able to multi-task and work with a high volume of transactions Ideal applicants will have an AAT or similar qualification Ideal applicants will have MSP and HaloPSA experience Experience 2-3 years’ Accounts Team experience Benefits In return, we will provide a fun working environment in which you will have the opportunity to support high profile clients and develop your career, along with great benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Additional day holiday for each full year worked (up to 5 extra days) Bupa Cash plan with EAP support after 1 month service 4% Pension contribution (matched by employee) Stock options after 1 years’ service Private Health Insurance after 2 years’ service Day off for your birthday Electric car scheme via salary sacrifice Cycle2Work Scheme Monthly Chalkline Champion award nomination Regular socials & team building activities Regular Lunch 'n’ Learns
