We are looking for an experienced nurse with a passion for emergency care to join our dynamic A&E team as a Band 6 Sister. In this role, you will lead and deliver high-quality care to patients in urgent and emergency situations, guiding and mentoring junior staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource management, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsible for the assessment of clients both adult and paediatric entering the Emergency Department, prioritisation of treatment, delivery of care and evaluation.
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and required to demonstrate procedures and to supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff.
As a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse the post holder will be responsible to:
• support band 7
• support junior members of staff
• delivery of high standards of care
• patient safety
• to follow and promote departmental standards
• to participate in clinical audits
