Data Administrator (Maternity Cover) - Whiteley
Our client is looking to take on a new Data Administrator to join their firm based in Whiteley - this will be a 12-month maternity cover contract, offering the flexibility of hybrid working (2 days in office).
Responsibilities:
The role will report to a Paraplanning supervisor, and the key areas of the role are as follows:
1. Populating LOAs and adding client signatures, where the FPA has been signed
2. Sending LOAs to providers in the most efficient manner
3. Chasing receipt of LOAs and the plan information required to conduct analysis
4. Complete LOA checklists (preferably from telephone calls, with paper confirmation to follow)
5. Communicating with PPs on further information required
6. Updating plan information on Curo and ensuring the relevant information is added to the files
7. Updating Curo, advisers and client services team members on the status of an LOA
8. Take ownership for process documentation and process enhancements
9. Respond effectively to any queries on cases in your queue
10. Effective testing of IT developments/projects, actively providing input/putting ideas forward for tech improvements
11. Assist with the effective implementation of changes to procedures/processes
12. Assist with process redesign initiatives
Experience & Qualities:
13. Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge, and understanding of all financial products, plans and product providers (additional training will be given)
14. At least 2 years' experience within the financial services industry
15. Desire to learn and continue to develop technical knowledge and understanding
16. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
17. Exceptional attention to detail
18. Ability to communicate effectively with departments across the business
19. Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
20. Strong team player, proactively offering support to the team
21. Strong organisational skills and able to manage a busy workload
22. Working towards a level 3 or level 4 qualification with the CII
23. Strong IT skills
24. Can proactively demonstrate a desire to take responsibility for personal development, being aware of any knowledge gaps and actively working to close these gaps
25. Act as a strong advocate of change
