WHAT TO EXPECT
A key objective of the JLR VP organisation is to expand the range of well executed, high revenue product and feature deployed either on-line or off-line at each of the Production Assembly Plants or through the Dealer Channel. To support this objective there is a requirement to appoint a Programme and Launch planner to work with the existing VP Programme Teams, Product Development and Production Operations teams.
This position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for Agile practices in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.
In the role of Scrum Master, you will not only enable the leadership team to effectively deliver within a Scaled Agile framework but also play a pivotal role in coaching and developing key stakeholders and other Scrum Masters. You will coach the Chapter Product Owner (PO) on their responsibilities, including maintaining a clear product roadmap, cascading information to other Group Scrum Masters in the domain, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment on priorities across squads.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Mentor multi-disciplinary teams in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
2. Facilitate ceremonies: sprint planning, retrospective, review, backlog refinement, and standup
3. Support and coach development teams to self-organize and operate autonomously, remove impediments, and establish team working agreements
4. Support the Product Owner in creating and updating reports for different partners
5. Lead and facilitate key Quarterly Business Review and Annual Business Review ceremonies, including retrospectives, memo preparation, and market engagements
6. Proactively remove group-level obstacles and inefficiencies to keep the team focused during each Quarterly Business Review and Annual Business Review period
WHAT YOU NEED
• Prior experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, preferably within the Automotive Engineering industry
• Qualified experience of Agile at Scale (, Leading SAFe)
• Experience in enterprise-level stakeholder management
• Expert knowledge of Agile principles and their practical application
• Previous experience in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage team backlog and delivery efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to learn and thrive in a large business environment.
