We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert in Oracle to join our Oracle Practice. You will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled and knowledgeable Sales, Solutioning and Advisory professionals across the EMEA region and help our major clients in their digital transformation journey.
The Oracle SME will be part of a growing Oracle focused sales team responsible for working alongside account teams and sales professionals developing pipeline and delivering technical excellence to support the progression of an opportunity.
They will be responsible for building a strong relationship with DXC’s Account teams and their clients across EMEA and supporting these teams with the sale of DXC’s Oracle related services.
This role could be ideally suited to an Oracle resource who is looking to take their first step into sales.
Successful candidates will be required to hold SC clearance or willing to be vetted for this.
Main responsibilities:
* Develops Oracle sales pipeline to increase company’s market share in offering area.
* Use expertise in Oracle Modernisation, Oracle Optimisation and Oracle Cloud to Customer adoption models to seek out new client opportunities and expand opportunities with existing clients.
* Collaborate and build strong relationships with DXC Account Teams and Partner Sales Teams.
* Provide support to Account Executives and Sales Professionals in lead generation and progressing opportunities related to Oracle.
* Accountable for developing and supporting the progression of pipeline.
* Accelerate growth through lead generation.
* Support the development and delivery of the regional and global Oracle sales plan.
* Participate in forecasting process to provide visibility to leadership of sales pipeline status and potential to achieve target bookings.
* Supports pursuit team in developing a winning value proposition that meets the needs of the customer.
* Assists in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
* Responsible for validating/endorsing the technical solution for the deal.
* Develops deal timeline and ensures that pursuit team meets deal milestones and deadlines.
* Proactively manages all Oracle resource requirements in the early stages of pursuit.
* Become an integral part of a well-respected, professional team within DXC.
Requirements:
* Extensive technical knowledge in Oracle and Oracle Modernisation.
* Knowledge of Oracle Applications and Products (SaaS, PaaS & IaaS).
* Experience of Oracle and being an ex-Oracle employee highly advantageous.
* Highly developed consultative approach and business development skills.
* Relevant experience in supporting and developing deals from $5 to $50 million contracted revenues.
* Experience in developing offerings and Oracle Modernisation solutions.
* Experience with international (EMEA) or global clients.
* Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team.
* Capable of working with clients to develop their high-level Oracle strategy and roadmap.
