Albany Beck are hiring for a PMO analyst to join the team and work on a large operational resilience programme with one of our leading Investment Banking clients. This is a multi-year Operational Resilience Programme and the role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the banking sector’s regulatory and operational transformation. Key Responsibilities: Programme Governance: Maintain governance frameworks, ensuring timely project reporting, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting & MI: Prepare high-quality management information, status updates, and executive-level presentations. Resource & Financial Management: Monitor budgets, track costs, and assist in resource planning and allocations. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and compliance functions to ensure programme alignment and transparency. Change Control: Manage change requests, ensuring project scope and delivery timelines are clearly defined and adhered to. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigating actions are in place. Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain programme documentation, templates, and methodologies, driving continuous improvement. Key Skills & Experience: Proven PMO Experience: Strong track record in a PMO role within financial services, preferably in an investment banking environment. Operational Resilience Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as PRA, FCA, or similar would be highly desirable. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, and PowerPoint. Data-Driven Reporting: Advanced Excel skills with experience in creating dashboards and data visualisations. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
