Temporary Site Manager - Kitchen & Bathroom Scheme Location: East Rainton DH4 5RA Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing (initially until March, potential for extension) Rate: Competitive We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a Kitchen & Bathroom scheme in the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and challenging project with ongoing work for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Manage all site operations for a busy kitchen & bathroom refurbishment programme. Coordinate reactive works and ensure timely completion of tasks. Lead site teams and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Ensure excellent communication and collaboration with tenants and stakeholders. Essential Requirements: SMSTS certification (up to date). CSCS Card (Manager level). First Aid at Work (3-day course). Asbestos Awareness certification. Proven experience in social housing refurbishment projects, particularly kitchens and bathrooms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Desirable Experience: Previous roles with social housing contractors desirable. Strong background in managing reactive works. Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
