As this Apprenticeship is in the Paediatric department, all applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
We are looking to appoint a Business Admin Apprentice to work in Child Health, The Den within the Family Care Division.
The successful candidate must be customer-focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Monday - Friday, between 8am - 5pm (hours to be agreed).
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements, together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration system(s).
To be successful in this role, you will possess computer literacy and a good education, including GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C (or equivalent). You must have effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.
Main duties of the job
The main emphasis of this role is to provide a robust and varied admin service to the Child Health Care Unit.
Duties will include providing administrative support to the Admin teams within their specialty, reconciling clinics in line with timescales, answering telephones, checking in patients, and relaying messages.

Qualifications
* GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Good standard of general education
Experience
* Experience of using Microsoft computer programmes, e.g. Word and Excel
* Any work experience in an office environment
