An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Service Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Stourbridge, Dudley area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
This care home offers temporary accommodation for respite and rehabilitation, providing the highest standards of care and support to older people with dementia. Our philosophy is to see beyond the illness and recognize the wider needs of the individual.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize authentic leadership, role modeling, and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care.
2. Become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, with 24-hour responsibility for the care of the service users.
3. Manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
4. Provide improvement, independence, and choice for service users.
5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times, particularly the CQC regulations for nursing homes and NMC guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Be a good role model for all employees, approachable, and provide a regular presence and visibility across all levels of staff, demonstrating consistency in actions and decisions.
2. Set and maintain clear standards of care aligned with Shaw Healthcare's vision, policies, and procedures.
3. Apply employee selection processes thoroughly, ensuring professional treatment of candidates and comprehensive onboarding.
4. Develop a culture of continuous quality improvement through clinical governance frameworks.
5. Experience overseeing a nursing service.
6. Experience managing a service of similar size and client group.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful Clinical Service Manager will receive an excellent salary of £53,898.96 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week during day shifts. In return, you will receive:
