Position: Locum Physiotherapist in ITU/Critical Care Banding : Band 7 Location : London Start Date : 30th September 2024 End Date : 25th October 2024 Hours : Monday to Friday (08:30 to 16:30) Rate : £29.00 - £32.00 per hour Job Description: The LBH is seeking a dedicated Band 7 Locum Physiotherapist to join our ITU/Critical Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to critically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and recovery. What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role? As a Band 7 Locum You will assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions tailored to the needs of patients in critical care. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes. You will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and recovery. You will maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with departmental and legal requirements. You will collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient management. Additionally, you will participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service development initiatives. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Proven experience in ITU/Critical Care settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
